Aaron Perry

Aaron Gabriel Perry is a former Police Officer and President and Chief Executive Officer of the non-profit Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association, a national leader in advocating for the health of Black men.

On September 11, 2005, Aaron became the world’s first African American diabetic to complete the Ironman Triathlon, which is considered the world’s most grueling endurance event.

In 2015, Aaron opened the nation’s first Men’s Health & Education Center inside the largest Black barbershop in Madison, Wisconsin. He has since expanded to five Black and Latino barbershops, providing thousands of men access to daily preventative health screenings, health consultations, and insurance enrollment from a location that they trust, respect, and always feel welcome.

In 2022 and 2023, Aaron opened the Perry Family Free Medical and Dental Clinic which provides uninsured and under-insured Black men access to Primary Healthcare. Physical Therapy, Mental Health Counseling and Diabetic Footcare, Oral Cancer Screenings and Teeth Cleanings.

In 2018, Aaron was named TIME Magazine’s 50 Most Influential People in Healthcare Globally for “Thinking Outside the Hospital.”

In May 2020 Aaron was interviewed by Men’s Health Magazine who named him as 1 of 5 men that’s Changing the World of Health.

Aaron is the volunteer National Director of Health, Wellness and Disease Prevention for Black Men Run which has 49 chapters across 29 States. He also serves on the Wisconsin Partnership Program Oversight and Committee, and on the Board of Directors with Access Community Health Centers.

Aaron is a graduate of Madison College Police Academy and Marycrest University.
